TAKE A BREATH
Simply focusing on the inhalation and exhalation for just 3 breaths can shift your mind.

VENTING
Talking with a trusted friend can be helpful. Hearing your own words outside of your head
is a way to evaluate what you’re saying to yourself and actually feeling but it can also perpetuate the inner anguish.

RADICAL ACCEPTANCE
Harsh words but true. If you can take a moment to reflect on this idea that life is not easy
and to complete a moment of radical acceptance of this thought, a space could emerge where solutions
to your thoughts and perhaps more peaceful feelings will emerge.

MAKE THE DECISION
You can change your life in a moment, as Tony Robbins says…it might take 10 years for the moment to happen
but making the decision is the first step.

TRUTH OR FRICTION
The first step is to become aware of what words are circling around your head. Identify and register
whether they’re positive, negative or helpful at all. Next, ask yourself are these words true?

LEARNING TO LOVE OURSELVES
Learning to love and appreciate yourself is really the number one thing we can try to do.

LEARNING TO SELF-ACTUALIZE
Accepting the slips and surges as we improve our lives by 1% on a daily basis is a huge first step.
Slow progress is still progress and self encouraging practices is the way to make the progress consistent.

REMEMBER THAT LIFE HAPPENS
Accepting the benefits of all of life’s events, especially the negative, is the first step toward radical acceptance.

COMPARTMENTALIZATION
Compartmentalization is a way to manage thoughts and emotions and time.
You can do this mentally and emotionally by blocking the trigger until later.
